Welsh Water is planning to carry out some work in Hereford, which may have an effect on traffic around Hereford city.
The work, which they hope to start in September / October this year, will involve construction of a new, large diameter water main between Bewdley Bank Reservoir and Hereford City. The work is expected to take around 18 months in total to complete. The work will help to ensure security of supply to the area as well as alleviate issues that some customers are experiencing with low water pressure. The work will also help to ensure Welsh Water can continue to meet the growing demand for water in the area.
