Equipment for Medical Emergencies

There are three DEFIBRILLATORS available in the village

At the shop right of the front door, accessible 24 hours. Suitable for adults only.

Football club pavilion, accessible 24 hours. Suitable for adults and children aged 1-8

years

School office, accessible in school hours only. Suitable for adults and children aged 1-8

years

The shop defibrillator cabinet also contains a BLEED CONTROL KIT in case of accident or

attack.

If any equipment is removed, whether used or not, as soon as the emergency is over

please inform Lyn or Richard Bavin, who look after the equipment on behalf of the Parish

Council. They will ensure it is made ready for future use and liaise with the Ambulance

Service.

provided by the British Heart Foundation and the Resuscitation Council, and point to

guidance on the St John Ambulance Association website which gives clear advice on how

to treat babies who are unresponsive and not breathing.
